Integration consultancy

The term “system integration” has been used in the information technology sector since the beginning of the 90s. The main idea behind system integration is to provide an effective cooperation of individual system compounds so as to achieve the best possible outcomes, both from the execution perspective as well as from the quality of the final product. Integration comprises of existing system components and newly added components. Specifically in this combination is the use of system integration irreplaceable.

System integration from the company’s management perspective stems from its corporate strategy and coordinates individual processes taking place within the organization into one compound. This compound then manages the organization processes and underlines the outcomes of the company’s operations. The aim of the integration on the management level is to achieve a fully functioning system, which together with the inner culture and outer picture creates the total image of the organization.

Total image of integration

System integration in the ICT sector includes integration of individual components of information technology, which support separate processes taking place in the organization and guarantees their common cooperation.

System integration uses a number of processes, tools and methodologies, which are combined together into the system integration project, in which the so called “best practices” are being used. Best practices are a combination of all the experiences of consultancy teams gained throughout the realization of vast number of integration projects.

The system integration project brings the customer a new element – the possibility to delegate responsibility but also the realization competence, perhaps even the operation of information process support of specialized subjects – integrator.  Integrator is a guarantee to the customer that individual sections of information support cooperate and their cooperation increases the effectiveness of the final information system. Integrator disposes of much wider resources, both human resources and technological resources, than the customer can ever gain himself.

The continuous updating of information support is also an indisputable advantage.  This tool means the customer can focus on his main tasks. That, what has made the system integration in the last 20 years most appealing, is the ability to minimize losses connected to conceptual or technological fragmentation and so create a fully functioning information system. Aside from this there are other attractive possibilities of integration activities:

  • unified environment solution,
  • unified solution to the borderlines between system parts,
  • risk elimination,
  • savings in material supply and work (coordination of subcontractors),
  • cooperation on updating of managing and information strategy of the organization.
