Administered server hosting
Service of operation and administration of server systems as platforms for the operation of applications. It consists of the provision of the necessary capacity performance of servers, of the overall administration of the operation system and all sub-systems installed on the server. The service also includes the provision of suitable infrastructure (space in hosting centre, so-called floor space, power from two independent sources of power, cooling, fire prevention measures, physical security and other services) and corresponding hardware. The service of provision, operation and administration of server systems is a platform for the user of the systems SAP R/3.The main parts consist of:
- overall administration of operating system and all operated subsystems
- configuration of operating system according to requirements of operated applications
- configuration of security accesses
- backing up of entire operating system and its subsystems
- communication configuration of server according to requirements of operated applications
- management and administration of disk arrays used by this server
- monitoring of configuration of operating system
The properties of the necessary hardware are designated on the basis of consultations with the customer of the service, as are installations of new versions of the operating system and other software necessary for the running of the application

The basic calculation unit for invoicing is tmpC, which is designated on the basis of independent benchmark tests.
