Secure Online Services
The ensuring of secure online communication and identification opens up new potential for web applications and the services for the individuals and firms created on them. For the preservation of confidentiality and administration of sensitive information, many services require a high level of securing and possibility of unambiguous and unmistakable identification of citizens. It is only possible to attain this using reliable digital signature solutions, the introduction of digital identification, use of secure infrastructure and encryption along with regular checking and updating of all security components. The main elements for securing online services are:
- strong verification based on creation and integration of electronic identification. Telefónica O2 has extensive experience with the development and deployment of electronic identification from a five-year project for Spanish public administration,
